Erin Spitzer

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I professionally coached high-level, competitive gymnastics throughout my 20s and early 30s. I then spent two years living in my van while traveling the country as a competitive, sponsored rock climber and yoga instructor before enrolling in IIN.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I began to live an incredibly nourishing and balanced life. I am so much more aware of each choice I make and how it impacts my long-term, interconnected happiness and health. I see everything from an entirely new lens. My spirituality practice has grown, my relationships are stronger, my career path is exciting, and my physical activity is balanced. I naturally find so much more joy and vibrancy throughout my days. I am soul led.

Kristina Halsig
Tampa, Florida

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I was a senior account director who managed client accounts in all aspects of their experiential marketing programs. I traveled across the United States, executing shows, meetings, and events while working cross-functionally with various internal departments and external business partners. My days were very deadline driven and high stress.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I enrolled at the perfect time. I decided to take a break from marketing because my health was not well: overweight, anxiety, high blood pressure, etc. I had spent the last year(s) pushing myself hard and not spending time taking care of myself. Once I enrolled, my attention was refocused. I was able to identify that I have leaky gut and SIBO as well as an underlying severe food intolerance to soybeans, which I was eating daily. Being enrolled at IIN was my daily reminder to address these issues and spend time rebuilding myself and my health.

Beth Slack
Shelton, Connecticut

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I have worked as an executive assistant to the president and owners of a private security firm for almost 14 years.

How did your life change after enrolling?
After enrolling at IIN, my life totally changed. My eyes opened to all the ways I could help myself and others. Primary food is so important; I explored my own primary food and discovered that all the stress that had built up in me – from my ill ex-husband, his alcoholism and mental illness, my divorce, his suicide, my mother’s illness and passing, my arm issues, my daughter’s ear surgeries, and my then boyfriend/now husband’s work injuries and health issues – was really affecting my health. I learned to breathe and fuel my body with foods that heal me, spiritually and physically. I learned to take time for self-care and rest. It is amazing how taking time for yourself can seem selfish, but everyone is dealing with something and self-care is so necessary.

Mary Mitchell
Colby, Kansas

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I was a full-time cleaning lady and landlord.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I had no idea the amazing journey I was about to have when I decided to join IIN. I went from being a cleaning lady and landlord to being the owner of Vibrant Woman, LLC, a professional health coaching service for women. I offer health coaching programs and packages to meet a variety of needs and budgets and host community health and wellness events. I am also a Rebounding trainer and teach Rebounding classes, and I offer hand and foot reflexology. Amazing experience, mind-blowing results!

Before enrolling at Integrative Nutrition, I was practicing in the health field as a surgeon and had a lot of questions about the root causes of diseases but didn’t have answers.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I noticed a lot of change in my personal life – confidence, relationships, joy, fulfillment – and also in my professional life, so the Health Coach Training Program has expanded my vision for the future.

Dorota (Sasha) Nunner

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
My background is in clinical microbiology. I used to work for R&D and then transitioned to the field and worked with hospitals on special projects.

How did your life change after enrolling?
My life has been positively influenced month by month while being in school. I am smarter about food choices and pay attention to primary food. The profound change for me is that I am more comfortable in my own skin. I listen more to myself and others.

Maureen Chirco
Saint Louis, Missouri

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I was a caregiver for elderly people.

How did your life change after enrolling?
Almost as soon as the classes began, I knew I was in the right place. My level of excitement grew stronger each week. I felt like this was where I was supposed to be, learning what I had always been meant to learn. I did this like I have never done anything before. I am so excited about my future when I had basically given up on finding something that truly suited me.
