What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Before IIN, I was working full-time in HR, but I started to get the itch that it was time to move into a career that made me feel more fulfilled and like I was contributing to something meaningful. After a discouraging experience navigating the healthcare system while treating an illness I had, I discovered health coaching through a friend; once I learned more, I knew it was the right path for me. Figuring out what works best for your own health is hard, and I don’t think anyone should have to do it alone or without a strong support system.
How did your life change after enrolling?
Enrolling at IIN gave me the tools, knowledge, and skill set to not only coach others but look for ways to bring greater health to my own life. Exploring the wide range of perspectives covered in the curriculum gave me the chance to try out different ways of eating and practicing self-care. Gaining more of this firsthand trial-and-error experience has also helped give me insight into what clients may be going through as they work to find the best healthy behaviors and new routines for their own lives.
