What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I've spent my career running my culinary education business as a chef, host, producer, and author! I have worked with several industry-leading companies, including Disney, and serve as a board member for the California Avocado Commission and the California Blueberry Commission! In 2011, I hosted the national syndicated radio program On the House as the resident chef, and in 2012, I produced and hosted the television show Delicious Discoveries with Chef Daniella Malfitano on PBS. Since 2015, I can be found as the host and a producer at Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival each spring, where I cook and dance my way through the kitchen and stage at every main stage show! I like to keep busy because I wholeheartedly love what I do!
How did your life change after enrolling?
My life has been FILLED UP by the many gifts I have received from the IIN Health Coach Training Program. Through the work of my IIN program, I feel my life and my business have expanded with more purpose, more heart-centered alignment, and more passion for sustaining and maintaining lasting lifelong health!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I enrolled at Integrative Nutrition to learn a holistic approach to wellness. I knew firsthand that changing lifelong thoughts and habits around food is difficult. I also knew that much more is required than just changing the food. IIN taught me the importance of maintaining a healthy balance among mind, body, and spirit. I especially appreciated the neutral approach they take on the wide range of dietary theories and how all areas of our lives affect our health. I also learned how to coach with a client-centered approach, and I now feel aligned with my purpose.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
For 29 years, I was an aerospace engineer working on the US Space Program at the Johnson Space Center. It was an exciting and historic job, but I also felt like it wasn't my calling.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling, I was running my own purpose-driven marketing business with a side focus on wellness. Once I found IIN, I decided to revamp everything and create my business with a full focus on purpose, clean beauty, and integrative nutrition.
How did your life change after enrolling?
I am more confident and more educated about nutrition and an integrative approach to wellness. I feel that this was the missing link for me. My life is full of deeper meaning and purpose now.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Over the past several years, I've spent time working in corporate finance for Fortune 500 companies, volunteering in my community, and raising my two young boys. When I decided to enroll in IIN, I was working as a grants manager for my local community foundation supporting nonprofits and their missions.
How did your life change after enrolling?
For starters, I'm self-employed, which is a huge change for me. I enjoy creating, writing, owning what I do, and being authentic in a way that I wasn't in my previous careers. I feel more motivated to work on myself, to learn from others, and to have an open mind about what health means to me and everyone around me. I see doors open and tons of opportunity. It is a very exciting place to be.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling at IIN, I was working full-time as a personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist.
How did your life change after enrolling?
I found me! I did not realize how much I lacked in self-care or the importance of it. It also taught me that I was not always listening to actually understand. Being able to realize that and ask the right questions has made it so I have better communication with family and clients. Lastly, I have been able to apply everything I have learned to my home life. Not only am I on a healthier path with life, but so is my family.

Dramatically! It was so empowering to discover that what I had studied on my own was in line with current thinking and science. I loved connecting with like-minded people.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I had completely lost touch with who I was. I was overweight, lost, and in pain from an autoimmune disease I had no idea how to bring myself back from. A complete mess. IIN helped me find my way back to myself, to a better self. It helped me realize how much I wanted this for myself and for others.
How did your life change after enrolling?
IIN changed my life drastically. It taught me how to look deeper and listen to my body. Before IIN, I suffered from debilitating pain in my joints. I could hardly get out of bed. I had two little boys, who needed me to keep up, to be able to be their mother, to be able to at least get up and make them a meal and change a diaper. Everything was painful. Until IIN. Only two months into the course, after playing around with my diet, eliminating certain foods, I’m so happy to say that I live a completely pain-free life. I can run after my babies again, I started doing yoga, I lost 40 pounds, and I am completely in love with my life!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling at IIN, I had just started a new job as a project manager for an electric car company. I was working full-time and had been thinking about making a career change to do something I love and enjoy but never made the jump.
How did your life change after enrolling?
When people say you become what you feel and what you attract into your life, it is quite true. IIN gave me an environment where I felt brave and courageous to try new things. I went outside my comfort zone and conquered many fears on my bucket list (including skydiving and finishing an obstacle course race), things I was fearful of and thought I would never do. The space IIN provides transforms who you are and opens up your mind, and most importantly, I feel it connected me to my true authentic self in a sense where I began to put away my self-limiting beliefs.

How did your life change after enrolling?
Although at the time of enrolling I was just looking for ways to help others, and what I had not expected was to change my own life so much. I have found so much balance since enrolling in IIN, a lot of which I had no idea I needed.
