Joshua Rosenthal, Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition shares his wisdom about creating a healthy and happy life that helps transform the world.
I’ve always felt that if you want something done; give it to a busy person. So when I came across this article by time management expert, Mark McCartney, saying that human beings are designed by evolution to be busy, I thought, “Bingo! That’s what I’ve been saying!”
Mark McCartney explains that being busy is “OK for the caveman, who needs to feed himself; not OK for you in the 21st century when you have to deal with an ever-growing range of tempting distractions.” He found those who get the most quality work done in the smallest amount of time all have a few things in common, like isolating themselves to focus on work, finding their best workflow, and being honest about what’s holding them back. At Integrative Nutrition, I’m proud that we teach our students a very simple technique to get more done every day. Check it out here!
