What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling at IIN, I was a stay-at-home mom for my twin daughters, Lexi and Zoey. As they began their journey in law school, I knew it was my turn to figure out my future. I’d suffered from fibromyalgia, panic attacks, chronic anxiety, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease my entire adult life. Through food and fitness, I successfully turned my health around and was living my best life. My dream career was to use my passion for health and wellness in order to help other women who were suffering and struggling as I’d been.
How did your life change after enrolling?
Since enrolling at IIN, my life has changed drastically. Synchronicity led me to IIN to pursue my passions and follow my dreams. It is, without a doubt, the best decision I’ve ever made. IIN helped guide me to the wisdom and courage I needed to dig within and learn to love myself. I’ve learned that I can do anything I set my mind to, and I’ve overcome many life obstacles, including health issues, anxiety, and depression. I’m truly happy, for the first time in my entire adult life, and I’ve finally found my purpose and my “why.”
I’m now a full-time Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, using my life struggles to help my clients overcome the same obstacles that nearly destroyed me. I’m so motivated and energized at the thought of changing lives and helping women who are where I was last year and all the years before, struggling to get through their days. My goal with all my clients is to be the bright light in their dark tunnel, guiding them through to better days.
My business name, The Complete Cook, is dedicated to my mom. Twenty-one years ago, she lost her life at 63 due to complications of obesity, fibromyalgia, and depression. I believe with all my heart that had my mom had a Health Coach, it would have saved her life. My mom’s business, The Complete Cook, empowered women by teaching them a love for food. I now use my mom’s former business name to empower women by teaching them to use food to improve their health and quality of life.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I was working as a yoga instructor and an actress, looking for a way to study nutrition, since it’s a subject that I’m passionate about.
How did your life change after enrolling?
IIN opened my mind, made me discover that nutrition goes beyond what I imagined, beyond what’s tangible; it’s much deeper. In fact, I fulfilled one of my dreams: to hold my first women’s retreat.
