What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling in IIN, I had a corporate career working in people, process, and technology change management. I moved to a beautiful piece of property in 2010 and started to work on building a family in the country while I continued to work. The universe had something else in mind. I became very ill through a series of unfortunate events. It took many years and some scary turns, and I had to retire before I was diagnosed. The healing journey has been long and circuitous yet always upward. During this time, I learned much about the mind, the body, genetics, nutrition, and more. I developed a burning passion to help others like me. This healing journey led me to IIN, Pilates certification, and my new life’s work.
How did your life change after enrolling?
Completing the course brought me many positives, including confidence in what I’d learned prior to IIN and in my ability to be a meaningful coach for others. This was huge after being out of the working world for several years, and it’s propelled me forward. At one time, I had to recover speech and other cognitive functions due to my illness – and being able to move through this coursework, complete the exercises and exams was also massively confirming for me and for the work I’ve done to this point. Relief and excitement, all at once!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Before enrolling in IIN, I was starting a travel business; it was on hold during the pandemic. I’m an art teacher, and I offer creative travel experiences for women. Now, after getting certified as a Health Coach, I’ll include health coaching group sessions. And if anybody’s interested in continuing their transformation, I’ll create a purposeful package for them.
How did your life change after enrolling?
IIN made me change in many ways – first of all, being aware of and transforming my own health; I lost seven kilos (15 pounds). But mostly, it empowered me as far as digging deep into my skills and realizing how much I have to share and offer beyond my creative and spiritual strengths. Practicing during the Health Coach training made me recognize that this is a path I want to pursue and expand my knowledge, abilities, and opportunities in order to be part of many women’s transformations.
How did IIN change my life? It brought me back to being very happy and extremely motivated, and I can’t wait to continue growing – as a woman and a Health Coach.
