Prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition, I was traveling the country as a travel nurse specializing in gastroenterology.
My health and career have changed tremendously. I never thought I’d become a Health Coach ‒ I wanted to improve my own health. Now I’m a full time Health Coach, and I’m the healthiest I've ever been. I’m health coaching within my community by volunteering my time to talk about eating for energy. I’ve hosted the Eating for Energy event for free, with a great turnout, and share about the ways we’re gaining or draining our energy by utilizing the Circle of Life, primary food, and secondary food. I’ve also connected with a local cooking space, to explore options and opportunities for community education and connection.

I’m a full-time mom of four kids, with a corporate/engineering background.
Aware of how primary food plays a major role in us, I’m feeling, now, happier/at peace with how I handle my kids’ primary food…and mine too. Now I’m feeling more in harmony with myself in body, mind, and spirit. Within my neighborhood, as a heart-centered act for overall well-being, I took several roles to educate/improve the lifestyle of my community, based on the health of my kids. I am responsible for a monthly seminar (wellness and health topics) and the community garden, where we grow pesticide-free crops for everybody to enjoy! I’m very happy with those projects ‒ making progress...not perfection yet!

Every day, I loved to help generate a community of change. I shared a balanced, healthy, and happy life with others.
For me, it’s an honor to be an IIN graduate, in addition to being an Ambassador. I completely feel that transforming lives and helping is what I’m passionate about. We live in community, and above all, we must help each other. IIN has helped me establish healthy habits throughout my life. I now understand that habits are not removed, they’re replaced through trial and error.

I started, five years ago, working with foundations for women cancer patients, and step by step, I understood that it’s not just about healing but even better, about overcoming and preventing diseases such as cancer. Before IIN, I was working as a life coach ‒ but I wasn’t very clear about how to integrate my other knowledge, as a yoga and meditation teacher, into my practice.
IIN changed my life, teaching me to look at health and wellness by integrating the 12 areas of the Circle of Life and opening my world to the concept of food inside and outside the plate. Today, I work with women who’ve experienced trauma, illness, or grief and who now feel that they’ve lost themselves along the way.
