Joshua Holds Integrative Nutrition Meet-Up in Miami!
Joshua’s on the move again! With travels taking Integrative Nutrition’s founder, director, and primary teacher Joshua Rosenthal all over the globe to meet with students and graduates, his latest destination took him from the snowy streets of New York City to the warm beaches of sunny Miami, Florida!
On Monday, January 26, Joshua met with more than 100 students and graduates from across the Miami area at the W Hotel South Beach for a day of connection, inspiration, and community. It was an extra special event because Joshua was celebrating his birthday with the company of his mother and father!
Courtney Kohout, Class of 2014, was one of the graduates in attendance, and her feedback was that the day was one of connection, collaboration, and inspiration:
I had a fabulous time at the IIN Miami meet-up! It was great to meet like-minded people within my community; I definitely made some great connections with whom I’ll keep in contact. I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Joshua. He really took the time to meet and talk with all of us, which was really awesome!
I spoke to the other students about what they are doing or want to do as a Health Coach, in addition to my own background and interests. I have become an Earth Diet Health Coach and am also in the process of creating my own healthy sweets business. I made connections with people who can give me advice and guidance in my endeavor, as they have certain skills and knowledge that I don’t, and vice versa. I met someone who believes they have clients for me, another who wants to be a potential business partner, and another who will be a very helpful mentor. To me, the entire event was one massive highlight, as every direction I turned I met another amazing individual to whom I felt connected!
Meet-up events like this are really helpful and beneficial, being that IIN is an online program. As great as a job IIN does at helping us to feel connected digitally, there is something special about face-to-face interaction that cannot be beat. For that reason, I especially loved the meet-up and look forward to more in the future!
Stay tuned to see where Joshua goes next!
