Students come to Integrative Nutrition for all different reasons. Some want to use their passion to help others change their lives, while others are focused on bettering themselves. No matter the initial reason for enrolling, students graduate from the Health Coach Training Program having improved their health in ways they never imagined!
How exactly do we define “health”? You may think that being healthy means seeing a certain number on the scale, drinking green juice every day, or being able to run a mile. But health is so much more than just how you look or what you eat. Being truly healthy also means feeling fulfilled in your relationships and career.
At Integrative Nutrition, our curriculum is based on primary food – the idea that there are aspects of our life, beyond what we eat, that impact our overall wellness. These areas include career, relationships, spirituality, and physical activity.
Let’s look at a few ways that becoming a Health Coach can positively transform personal health:
Reclaim your health – Even if you’re not looking to turn your IIN education into a business, you can become your own Health Coach and improve the health of you and your loved ones. Through exploring 100+ dietary theories and topics like meditation, Ayurveda, and self-care, you’ll discover the best ways to nourish and fuel your unique body.
Improve your relationships – You’ll learn about balancing the areas of primary food, the power of human connection, and how to form healthy relationships and communicate more effectively. Many people develop deeper bonds with their loved ones, let go of unhealthy relationships, and make lifelong friendships with the like-minded people in their class.
Love what you do – What if your job was the key to your health? Many students come to our program because they’re passionate about health and wellness and unsatisfied with their current careers. After completing the Health Coach Training Program, graduates go on to help others, launch businesses, write blogs, and develop products. Most important, they spend their days doing something that truly feeds their soul.
Aside from taking your primary food into account when looking at your health, it’s equally important to remember that what works for one person doesn’t always work for another. We believe deeply in this concept – bio-individuality – as “healthy” looks different for every person.
Regardless of the change you’re looking for, Integrative Nutrition can help you become the healthiest, happiest version of yourself!
