Female Entrepreneurship & Health Coaching: How Women Are Making Change
At Integrative Nutrition, we often say that we’re not just a school, we’re a movement.
Our vision for a healthier, happier world does not stop at greater personal wellness or even a more holistic and patient-centered healthcare system – it’s much bigger than that. Our mission is to create a world in which love and action come together to solve the biggest problems of our times: an unsustainable planet, inequality and suffering, and lack of positive leadership.
Yes, these are mighty challenges, but fortunately, female entrepreneurs are in a unique position to create the change humanity needs. In our case, health coaching and wellness are the foundations from which such powerful shifts can happen.
The Dalai Lama said “the world will be saved by the Western woman.”
The modern woman is perfectly poised to make massive change in their communities, homes, workplaces, and the world at large. And we could not be happier about it.
While we have many male Health Coaching students and graduates all around the world, modern women have a unique combination of resources, including:
Practical resources: financial independence, access to technology, political power, business savvy, and education
Emotional resources: empathy, compassion, a sense of inner purpose, and ability to collaborate
The only thing really holding women back from truly stepping into their power are internalized stories related to self-worth and capacity for leadership, and outdated cultural and gender norms of a male-dominated society.
But the ingredients for a movement are there! And we’re all in, full speed ahead.
By inspiring, motivating, and educating Health Coaches, we are tapping into the immense potential women hold for tipping our collective consciousness towards a brighter, more just, and healthier world.
Through career-related endeavors that are aligned with their own sense of inner joy and fulfillment, women are increasingly influential in spreading the message that we are all capable of uplifting each other and co-creating something more meaningful than any one person can do alone.
