We are excited to introduce our March Sampson Foundation winner, Mabelyn Mijangos. Mabelyn will receive free tuition to our Health Coach Training Program for her passion about health and wellness and desire to use an Integrative Nutrition education to better her community!
Here’s a bit of Mabelyn’s story in her own words:
It is my dream to become a Health Coach and my finances were the only thing that has kept me from doing so in the past. I am starting my own business called Krishna Devi Wellness Company that will provide health and wellness services at donation rates as well as monthly volunteering for free coaching and yoga to those who want to learn to become healthier, more empowered, and live life at their full potential.
I am a part time preschool teacher at a non-profit in DC and a certified yoga teacher and kids yoga teacher. Becoming a Health Coach will help complete my education to start my business as well as give me the ability to work with other non-profits, schools, and places of need such as social work companies or hospitals. Holistic wellness and nutrition are extremely important to me as I have used them to help heal from my own mental and physical illnesses, and I have seen them work miracles when my mother overcame her two bouts with cancer.
I truly believe in taking responsibility for your own life and I know that everyone has the power to heal themselves; mind, body and spirit. IIN is the ideal school for me to learn how to do this and provide this service for others while working from home, locally, or internationally.
I am dedicated to helping others become their best selves and live their most happiest and healthiest lives. I did not have someone available for me to do this so it is my dream to provide these services to all who need it. I know that I am a catalyst for positive change and self-development in myself and for others.
Thanks to our partnership with The Sampson Foundation, we are able to award free tuition to one individual each month, like Mabelyn, who is actively working in their community to make a big difference in health and wellness.
