“We’ve done a big experiment on ourselves for the past 50 years.”
That’s how Dr. Susan Blum views the changes humans have made to the food we consume in modern society, from hybridized wheat to GMO corn and soy (and now synbio foods!).
Though we’re awaiting the definitive results of this “experiment”, the information we’ve gotten so far has some troubling signs. In this video, Blum, an Integrative Nutrition visiting teacher, discusses her thoughts on GMOs and GMO legislation, and explains why she describes herself as “very concerned” about GMOs in our food supply.
