Forget Yelp and other restaurant guides—what we really want is a guide to all the incredible restaurants, juice bars, and cafés that Integrative Nutrition graduates have been opening around the world!
There are so many unique things you can do with a Health Coaching certification, and sharing nourishing food with others is a powerful way of helping spread health and happiness throughout the world. In the 22 years Integrative Nutrition has been training Health Coaches, countless grads have come on to open up diverse, delicious, and healthy eating establishments. Here’s a roundup of five great recently-opened spots:
Superfresh! Organic Café, Brattleboro, VT
IIN graduate Jessica Weston opened Superfresh! at the end of July in the beautiful town of Brattleboro with a mission to share her “passion for exquisite vegetarian cuisine.” There’s a full juice bar, superfood smoothies, and many fermented foods like kimchi, with an emphasis on allergen-free and vegan items. The food is all local, just like the art on the wall from nearby artists!
Juice Joy, Wilton, CT
Putting aside their successful independent juice bar businesses, graduates Dorothy Mulroy and Joy Eller decided joined forces to open Juice Joy at the market in town. They offer cleanses as well as a full menu, and their juices are meant to help people achieve “a lifestyle of optimum health.” We’ll drink to that!
Sweet Freedom Bakery, Bryn Mawr, PA
Catering to all of those with food allergies—and those who just love delicious sweet treats—graduate Allison Lubert opened the third location of her Sweet Freedom Bakery earlier this summer. Offering gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, corn-free, peanut-free, refined-sugar-free, and kosher choices, she proves that having dietary restrictions puts no limit on the amount of yumminess in your life!
Swami Juice, Tampa, FL
Integrative Nutrition graduate Kerry Hanan hopes to start a “swami revolution” with her organic, cold-pressed juice shop. With a name that taps into the ancient wisdom of yoga, Swami Juice offers a variety of cleanses and juice flavors with charming names and can’t-resist flavors (“The Purps” with beet, apple, kale, celery, and parsley looks like the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!).
Botanica Real Food, Brisbane, Australia
After working for years as a private chef, Integrative Nutrition graduate Ali Hutley opened this raw food restaurant last year. Offering fresh, nutrient-packed salad and other healthy treats to-go, her mission was to allow busy people to eat well regardless of their schedules. The salad menu certainly seems like a good enough reason to plan a trip overseas!
