Sydney Health Coach Corona Brady Empowers Others through Her Inspiring Story
For Corona Brady, when a spiraling host of physical problems seemed to require a lifetime of prescriptions, she did not take the news lying down. Wanting to be the master of her body, her health—and her life—she learned to use diet and lifestyle choices to cure her ailments without any medication.
So when she discovered IIN a few years later, enrolling was a no-brainer. After thoroughly implementing the principles of holistic, sustainable wellness in her own life, she felt driven to foster healthy changes in the lives of others.
Two and a half years after graduating, Corona continues to inspire clients by practicing what she preaches. “I’m the real deal,” she says. “I’ve gone from being clueless, to living these principles every day.”

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I was working in banking in Operations. I was caught up in the corporate grind, desperately searching for an escape but using all the wrong tools: caffeine, crappy eating, a reliance on sugar (unsuccessfully offset by exercise), and not enough sleep.
I ended up being diagnosed with severe adrenal exhaustion. My endocrine system had completely shut down, resulting in liver damage and constant fatigue, as well as menstrual, hormonal, and blood sugar issues. By 2007, I could add polycystic ovarian syndrome to my list of issues. My endocrinologist prescribed me to a life of medication, but I decided to learn to heal myself naturally. There is now absolutely no trace of these conditions in my body, and my hormone levels are back to normal.
What led you to explore the Health Coach Training Program?
It was a dear friend who I'd done my yoga teacher training with, and who is a Health Coach herself, who introduced me to the program. When I first set eyes on it, it felt so right in my heart that I immediately jumped on board. I’m so happy that I listened to my intuition, because this has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.
How did your life change after enrolling?
To start with, I learned about bio-individuality—that we are all unique and that we need to find our own brand of wellness to support ourselves. I learned so much about myself. What foods made me feel good, and what foods basically made me feel like crap. I started tapping into the wisdom that had been there all along—I’d just learned to ignore it. I learned to truly nourish my body and feed my soul with organic whole foods, and also learned about primary foods. I delved deep into both areas, and really worked to bring them back into balance. Of course, it will be a lifelong journey.
Which topics and modules were most beneficial for you?
I loved the Ayurveda class and all of the wisdom that John Douillard shared. I loved Deepak Chopra’s class—I truly resonated with our body and soul being so very deeply connected. Michael Pollan’s class was another great one. He has this incredible talent to capture an audience’s imagination with his “common sense” understanding of food. He champions sustainability, culture, and whole foods, and is willing to challenge government policy and conventional scientific and dietary wisdom. Julie Cameron was also wonderful, and she introduced me to “morning pages,” which I now practice daily. Bernie Segel on exploring the importance of love and healing woke me up to the realization that we are only here for a limited time.
What are you doing now?
I have my own business, NurturePod, which offers coaching, yoga, and other healing practices. I spend half of my time teaching yoga, and the other half is spent coaching, healing, and creating new products. My mission is to inspire women to achieve balance in their lives. I launched my very first online coaching program, called “Nourished,” in October 2013 with a friend, Kirri White. It’s a 5-week online coaching program to balance body, mind, and soul. I’m in the process of creating my own 12-week online coaching program, “Creating a Soulful Life,” which launched in late January. I’m also in the process of creating a recipe e-book, and I have a 7-day online cleanse program called “NurturePod Heal and Cleanse.”
What do you love about your work?
I really thrive on inspiring, teaching, and motivating women by sharing my years of training, experience, and personal battles. I want to help them on their journey toward blissful balance. I’m passionate about health, healing, well-being, and happiness, and that’s very much reflected in my work. I love being of service. It’s my life now, and I’m so grateful for it.
I love seeing how surprised my clients are when they make these amazing life changes. I’m just grateful to be the catalyst for their change.
