Why We Give Back: Season of Giving

Written by Integrative Nutrition | Jun 8, 2024 2:59:51 PM

If you are healthy and happy, you have more energy to do what you love. Your enthusiasm for life is radiant, and it inspires others. You can help lift others around you by teaching them what you know.

The gift of having more in life is that you have more to give.

That’s what we strive to do at Integrative Nutrition. As much as we can, we reinvest into our community by giving more support and advanced training to our students and graduates. And we support charities doing great work that complements our mission of making the world a better place.

In December, thanks to our community for spreading the word about our Season of Giving charity drive, we donated over $90,000 to charities that are aligned with our mission to spread a ripple effect of health and happiness around the world:

  • New York Cares is New York City’s largest volunteer organization, working together with partner organizations to help children, adults, and the community, including organizing volunteer projects to provide disaster relief to the thousands of Hurricane Sandy victims.

  • Healthy Child Healthy World is a movement to empower parents to protect their children from harmful chemicals and promote policies that reform chemical regulations.

  • Farm Sanctuary is a haven for farm animals rescued from stockyards, factory farms and slaughterhouses. The sanctuaries invite visitors to learn about, volunteer with, and advocate for farm animals recovering from abuse.

For our students, we want to help them create a fulfilling career and life. The more successful they become, the more they can give back to their communities. And this is how the whole world becomes a healthier, happier place.

For charities, we carefully choose organizations that promote health and good nutrition, support the future generation, feed the hungry, and protect wildlife and the environment. It’s our way of adding a few more ripples of change to help improve the world.

I’m thankful for our amazing students and graduates who are making a difference in the lives of millions by coaching others to greater health and happiness. I’m so grateful for our community who supports us and helps us continue this work year after year.
