Integrative Nutrition Gives Back to Celebrate a Season of Giving

When I founded the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, it was with the mission to change the world and make it a healthier, happier place.

How can a school do that? At Integrative Nutrition, we believe that people experience a powerful personal transformation by getting healthier. When they use their knowledge to teach others how to be healthier and happier, this process creates a ripple effect that changes the world.

We have epidemic rates of obesity, Type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. And in many cases, lifestyle changes can reverse the upward trend of these chronic diseases.

Imagine the impact you can make by simply getting people to replace their chemicalized junk foods with whole, unprocessed foods.

Imagine a world that prioritizes prevention and wellness, not medications and operations… and what society would be like if this were the focus.

Our 2020 Vision is to change the future of health care. We want to get society back on track and to reverse the current health crisis.

Part of our mission is to support charities that are doing great work aligned with our core values, and by supporting our graduates whose work supports their communities. We stay aligned with our mission by giving back all year round, not just around the holidays.

But this December, we want to make an even bigger impact. For every student who enrolls during the month of December, we will donate $100 to one of the following three charities of the student’s choice:

  • New York Cares is New York City’s largest volunteer organization, working together with partner organizations to help children, adults, and the community through thousands of hands-on projects.
  • Healthy Child Healthy World is a movement to empower parents to protect their children from harmful chemicals and promote policies that reform chemical regulations.
  • Farm Sanctuary is a haven for farm animals rescued from stockyards, factory farms and slaughterhouses. The sanctuaries invite visitors to learn about, volunteer and advocate for, farm animals recovering from abuse.

Our goal is to give over $100,000 to charities doing great work. We’re turning the ripple of health and happiness into a wave!

The incredible support of our community inspires us every day. Thank you for being a part of it.
